EMPTIES 2019

My goal for 2019 is to finish of the products I have opened and left unattended. 

I can quite easily get of track when it comes to using something regularly but after having a sort out I realised I have more open products  than I thought sitting around in my draw not getting used. 

So far I have managed to empty 9 items not bad for one month. I’m hoping by sticking to few products at a item will help me learn what I like and hate and what my skin loves.

PRODUCT FAVOURITE TUESDAY;LYNX DEODORANT

I’m going to throw it out there, I use men deodorant and I’m obsessed with them. I prefer Lynx men deodorant over women’s deodorant. I sometimes steal my partners deodorant when he isn’t looking. 

Why men deodorant? They last longer, the smell is stronger, prefect for those longs travel or when your in a huge crowd. Don’t get me wrong I do own women deodorants as well.

Lynx excite deodorant is a strong refreshing scent which last throughout the day. It not a over powering scent like Lynx Africa. For the price it is reasonable, I always bulk buy when it on offer. 

NO 7 LIPSTICK;RASPBERRY SILK

Before I get into this blog post, I was gifted the No7 lipstick to review. All opinions are my own.

When I first started to love makeup my first lipstick was from No7, I used to love them but my love quickly got turned to other brands. I didn’t quite fancy the chunky shape I prefer a sleek slim lipstick.

I recently received my first brand ambassador package which included a No7 lipstick in shade raspberry silk. My first impression where wow look how sleek and classy the packaging looks. The shade looked like a vibrant bold colour as you can see from the swatch below.

With vibrant colours I always tend to use a lip brush so I can have a smooth application without any mess. I found you only need one coat to create a vibrant look, if I can remember correctly I used to apply more than one coat with previous No7 lipsticks. The ingredients must have changed or something along the lines. 

With all new lipsticks I give them a fair 12 hour test, how long it applied on, do I need to do a re coat, does it come off when I eat.
The answers:YES, after 3 hours I noticed the colour wasn’t as vibrant as before plus my lips started to feel dry. I reapplied a coat which helped a little with the dry feeling.  During lunch it came off, there was some lipstick on my sandwich which wasn’t cute. 

Overall I love the look of the lipstick it classy and sleek, the colour is vibrant. Will I be using this as a everyday lipstick;NO but I will use it for a night out. 

SEPHORA WHISHLIST

It Sunday instead of having a lazy day with a movie and popcorn, I’m here making a whishlist.

The excitement in side me can’t wait to visit my first Sephora next month. We don’t have one here in the U.K. I feel like we are missing out on a huge brand. I first heard of the brand when I was a teen in high school, it was always talked by my friends. Every time I heard about a Sephora store I wanted to go and visit a store to try out Sephora own brand products. Luckily I get to visit to one in Saudi Arabia.

Im excited like a kid at Christmas or during the birthday month.I’ve started making a wish list of products I can’t wait to try out. Here a few products on my wish list;

Sephora “the sculptor “ airbrush sponge 

Sephora cleansing wipes 

Sephora lip-stories

Sephora face mask  

Sephora bronzing powder “my Seychelles cruise”

Is there any other Sephora own brand products I need to try out ?

HTBLOGGER BRAND AMBASSADOR

Before I get into this blog post, I was gifted all items to review. All opinion are my own.

Im part of the @htblogger brand ambassador team. It’s my first time being on a brand ambassador team. If your a blogger and reading this post I’m sure you would understand my excitement to receive my first mail. The day finally came, true to be told I didn’t know what to expect.

In my first blogger mail I received a #hashtagblogger tee and a No7 lipstick.

I love the #htblogger tee, it simple but classy. It can be worn as a every day shirt but I’m gonna keep my tee safe as a memory of my first brand ambassador team.  

  

  

When it came to lipstick I was confused as when did No 7 change their lipstick packaging. I looked again closer to make sure it was a No 7 lipstick. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed on how the packaging was classy and slim. I can’t wait to test out the lipstick and give it a fair review.

EVOLVE MIRACLE FACE MASK

When it comes to skincare I’m a face mask junkie, I try to use one every day. 

If you know me personally, packaging on a product  is a big thing to me, even the smallest detail. The mask comes in a dark recyclable glass jar and has a very gloopy consistency to it, it is a deep yellow colour and smells divine. The bonus point for me was;where it was made and by who. Small details like this make me feel closer to the maker of the product. Silly I know. 

I applied the face mask to my face and waited the recommended 5 minuets, before washing the mask off. I tried to use the mask twice every week, with plenty still left to use. I have noticed a difference in my skin plus you feel those AHA’S working when the mask is applied on. I can say Evolve miracle face mask will be my go to face mask in the winter.

Evolve products are natural and cruelty free as well as being made right here in the U.K.
